The Role
You’ll build the integrations that let our agent software talk to the physical world. Most days you’ll be implementing and hardening Modbus-based drivers against diverse hardware, while also extending the Go abstraction layer that sits above protocol adapters. You’ll work closely with hardware partners to get devices online reliably and securely.

What You’ll Do

• Implement, test, and maintain integrations with Modbus servers (TCP/RTU) and other industrial/IoT protocols.
• Extend our Go-based abstraction layer that normalizes device capabilities across vendors.
• Diagnose protocol quirks, timing issues, and field bugs across serial, TCP/IP, and edge environments.
• Collaborate with partners and customers during onboarding; document capabilities and edge cases.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on with Modbus (must-have); familiarity with one or more of IEC 104, MQTT, or vendor SDKs is a plus.
• Comfortable on Linux at the edge ( logging, networking, security basics).
• Clear communicator; you enjoy calls and screen-shares with partner engineers to unblock integrations.
• Pragmatic, test-minded approach to reliability.
• Solid Go skills and production experience with protocol-level integrations.
• Conversational Swedish

Nice to Have

• Experience with time-series data, offline-tolerant agents, or gateway hardware (e.g., RS-485, PLCs).
• Energy/DER, SCADA, or telemetry domain exposure.
